Well my strategy for the last leg of morocco literally turned to shit again. the morning i was due to leave chefchouan i fell ill again with some super-stomach-gastro-fever inducing sickness.
wow i was sick! some proper sick things occurred.
i don't remember ever having a fever like this either. intense.
i spent a full 2.5 days in my guesthouse room enjoying that, then while far from 100% i got transport to tangier (port to spain) so that i can get the hell out of morocco. (you can literally see the Spanish mainland across the Gibraltar straight). wanker cab driver broke my front brake cable in the process so have to replace that in spain. this guy drove like greg bradford!
its sat morning now and im pretty much back to normal so gonna check the ferry situation and bail the fuck out!

Awesome pics! Sorry to hear about the gastro, must have taken your mind off that right knee though.
That cab driver sounds like a top bloke: I bet he didn't miss a single stop sign on the way...
Hey Reid.
We hope your knee is improving mate. Tell us what was wrong with it in Asia and I'll try and get you a Spanish translation (in writing, so you can just show it to the doctor or whoever).
What are you shooting these photos with - they look really good. Some of the comments that entered my head when I saw them were:
Pic 1 - that's a great selfie but I reckon the hat clashes with your gown...
2 - ...probably good that there are no tyre tracks in this shot...
3 - Paris/Dakar motorbikes come screaming over the dune s to the right and you dive for cover to save being creamed...
4 - could you strap your bike onto a camel. Possibly the only time you'll ever get that photo opportunity
5 - bet your knee was hurting looking at that stretch
6 - some bastard stole your bike!
7 - Is there any grass in Morocco to pitch your tent on? Nope.
8 - !! Got yer woolen jocks on?
9 - which side do I drive on again?!
10 - What time did the farmer kick you out of his paddock?
11 - Hold the dead fish please matey.
12 - We all feel older some days eh Reid...but the grey hairs prove it really happens mate.
You look tired eh. I hope the knee isn't stressing you out too much mate.
Hang in there.
Nigel
